OneKey Recovery
• OneKey recovery is a preload tool which allow lenovo customer can easily recovery their system to the manufacture default status from a hid service partition:– Vista Home Premium – Drivers– Preload software
• Notice:• For OneKey Recovery will only restore the backup data to Partition C,
all data in partition C will lost.

• System will boot and enter the OneKey Recovery main interface

• Choose System Recovery by pressing ↑ or ↓ keys, press Enter to enter the recovery prompt interface, as figured underneath:

• Press the E key to continue. Then the recovery progress interface appears.
• Press the C key to interrupt and quit the operation. (If you quit system
recovery, you cannot enter the normal system again!!) When System
Recovery finishes, the success prompt appears.

Policy of OneKey Recovery Ver. 4.65
• Customer are allowed to restore the data to manufacture status after they backup their private data in C partition by themselves.
• Customer are not allowed to modify the contents and capacity of service partition.
• Customer are not allowed to backup the system and data to service partition.
• Customer are not allowed to rebuild the service partition or reinstall OneKey recovery tool by themselves, once they erase or destroy the partition and tool in hard disk drive, or the hard disk drive is replaced.

OneKey recovery Installation Procedure
• Customer’s service partition is damaged, or lost factory backup data• HDD is damaged and need to be replaced
• Preparation:– Laptop system from customer– Operating system disk from customer– Driver disk from customer or service center– Application disk or service center– OneKey Recovery tools disk, service center can find it from training
application– Let customer understand the risk that their data will be lost.– Backup customer data to another Hard disk drive

- After Windows has been launched, partitions defined as 0x12 will not be mapped as a drive letter.
- Windows device manager cannot manipulate 0x12 (EISA configuration)
- Gdisk, PQMagic can manipulate Type12 partition

• Before installation, make sure the disc has been partitioned, which is no less than two partitions.
• After installation of onkey recovery system, format the partition before the service area.
• It is strongly suggested that system partitions should not be changed.

FAQ
Q: After unistalling onekey recovery system, previous data still exist in the service data area.A: HDTOOL /CLR command only deletes service area, not data itself.
Q: What happens when onekey recovery system is installed on a hard disc which has only one partition – C: .A: partition C will either be changed or even damaged. So avoid installng onekey utility on system with only one partition.
