General Description2 optical wires (0.9 mm) are directly packaged into the external jacket with mechanical strength system (ex : Kevlar®). The cable is in accordance with the UTE NF C 93850 French standard relating to the optical fibers cable.The cable is marked with the label “microFX MM2” with a frequency of 2 meters and has a purple colour (RAL4001).
Mandatory characteristics Cable - The cable has a loose structure because of the short cabling house - Outside cable diameter: recommended min. 6 mm - max. 8 mm (SOURIAU : 6.2 mm ± 0 .2 mm) - The cable structure must allow to insert metallic ring (0.30 mm wall thickness) between mechanical strength system (ex : Kevlar®) and optical wires. microFX connector can be used with 2 optical fibers or with 2 optical fibers and 2 electrical wires. This document describes the cable characteristics used & recommended by SOURIAU for jumpers & patchcords to wire the microFX connector in an industrial environment (2 PCF (Plastic Clad Fibre ) 200/230 fibers).To cable microFX connector, the following characteristics are recommended :
General Description: 2 optical wires (0.9 mm) are directly packaged into the external jacket with mechanical strength system (ex : Kevlar®). The cable is in accordance with the UTE NF C 93850 French standard relating to the optical fibers cable.The cable is marked with the label “microFX PCF2” with a frequency of 2 meters and has a purple colour (RAL4001).
Mandatory characteristics Cable - The cable has a loose structure because of the short cabling house. - Outside cable diameter: recommended min. 6 mm - max. 8 mm (SOURIAU 6.2 mm ± 0.2 mm) - The cable structure must allow to insert metallic ring (0.30 mm wall thickness) between mechanical strength system (ex : Kevlar®) and optical wires. PCF fiber - Optical fibers will have tight structure in their jacket
