Benefits
Control when content is shown based on criteria.
Create course activities that are interactive and tailored
by the needs of individual students.
Two adaptive release rule types
Basic
Advanced.
ADAPTIVE RELEASE CRITERIA
Criteria Displays... Example
Date On a date, until, or between specific date/times.
Content needs to be released after topic has been discussed in class.
Membership Specific user(s) or groups. Release different assignments to groups.
Grade Gradable item was attempted or a certain score was met, less than, equal to, or between.
Provide different material for students who earn 70% or higher OR 69% or lower.
Review Status When content item is marked as reviewed.
Release first unit only after the Syllabus was marked reviewed.
BASIC & ADVANCE ADAPTIVE RELEASE
Basic Advance
Logic ANDAll criteria form AND statements within one Rule
AND or ORCriteria within a Rule form AND statements while two or more Rules create OR statements
between the rules
Number of rules that can be applied.
One Unlimited
Number of criteria for an individual rule.
Up to four, but only one of each
type.
Unlimited
Content is released when...
All criteria in rule are met.
All criteria in one of the rules have been met. One one rule
needs to be satisfied.

ADVANCE ADAPTIVE RELEASE

You can create unlimited rules with
unlimited criteria for each.
Only one rule needs to be met
before releasing the content.

Enable Statistics Tracking for items in a
content area.
The report will generate:
Access/Date: shows who has accessed the material within the
specified date range.
Access/Hour of Day: shows overall breakdown of the hour it was
accessed.
Access/Day of Week: shows overall breakdown of the day it was
accessed.
