HAPPY 2016 We have celebrated Christmas; we have seen, kissed and caressed the mystery love of a child, the Joy of a
wonderful visit, "God with us"
Now, the invitation is to grow between the daily challenges and the mystery, most of all, we are called to grow
in humanity and spirituality.
We have arrived to 2016 and we greet it with wishes of wonder and happiness. I think we all want to be happy;
let us remember that happiness is not bought at the supermarket and we cannot find it in a TV commercial.
Happiness depends on accepting our humanity with its limitations and imperfections, allowing God to be the
guide and center of our life.
There is much to be said for the new year, but this time I invite you to pray with the book of Ecclesiastes
(Qohelet) inviting us to live our time in the grace of God:
There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens:
A time to give birth, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.
A time to tear down, and a time to build.
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
A time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces.
A time to keep, and a time to cast away.
A time to be silent, and a time to speak.
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time for war, and a time for Peace.
God has given us another year to live so let us fill it with works of faith, hope and love. Each of us is
responsible for the tasks beneath heaven that will be carried out in 2016.
Happy New Year, although the next day will feel old, lets renew each day with the light of God who makes all
things new.
Happy New Year!!

Ayman Khair represenng about 140 Chrisan families from Bethlehem. These families have been dependent upon sales
of their hand carved religious arcles to tourists of the Holy Land. Due to the conflict in the Middle East, the tourism ha&

It is hoped that through the efforts of Mr. Khair that these families have a li2le income and are able to stay living in the
Holy Land. Amazingly enough, The Chrisans populaon dropped from 22 % to less than 2% in the last 30 years.

Tiempo de nacer, tiempo de morir;
Tiempo de plantar, tiempo de arrancar;
Tiempo de destruir, tiempo de construir ;
Tiempo de reír, tiempo de llorar;
Tiempo de danzar, tiempo de calma;
Tiempo de abrazar, tiempo de desprendimiento;
Tiempo de guardar, tiempo de compartir;
Tiempo de hablar, tiempo de callar;
