CIRCULAR
Sub: - General Nursing and Midwifery III Year GNM Examination -Regular - September 2016
Principals of all General Nursing and Midwifery Schools are informed that the General
Nursing and Midwifery- Third Year Examination (Regular) will be conducted on September
2016.
* The Total fee for each Examination is Rs.600/;-fhe fee may be Rs. 300/- for appearing any
single paper! The fee may be remitted by way of Demand Draft drawn from State Bank of
Travancore in favour of the "Registrar, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council " Payable
at SBT Thiruvananthapuram, Main Branch.
* The list of students together with the Demand Draft should reach this office not later than
12-08-2016. The list of students should be forwarded in the proforma attached with
this circular.
.f. The application form for Examination is attached. The application form should
fastened by tag or twain ( Pin, Gem clip, Stapler etc. should not be used) and should
amanged properly according to the serial order of the names of the students in the list.
.i. The Internal Assessment Marks and attendance should be forwarded in the proforma
attached with the circular. The average Internal Marks should not exceed 75 7o for
each paper -theorv and practical.
* The application if any received in this office after the last date mentioned above will not be

INSTRUCTIONS
i. The Practical and Oral Examination as per the scheme of examination should be conducted at
the School of Nursing from 19-09-2016 onwards.
* The maximum number of candidates for the Practical and Oral Examination for each day
will be 15. The Practical examination should be conducted from 8 am - lpm and Viva
should be conducted in the afternoon. The student should be examined in the order oftheir register number.
t Internal Examiners for Practical and Oral Examination should be appointed by the principal.
* If the External Examiner for Practical and Oral Examination is absent, Chief Supervisor may
inform the Council.
