The only problem i s , who were they? There was an SS upI7'VA-1170, at 8:44. A t about 9:10pm, a seoond SS broke. Frough on 1170. Between 9 :15 & 9:30, one, SS played a dramatic. piwsentation. The other one seemed te be broadcasting opera-type SS mx - there w a s jua t one female singer, who was at i t f o r about seven minutes so l i s . VOA-1180 was' coming over very well a l l evening, but from 8:47 on,a second SS signal came through. This u n I D SS was playing Aiierican mx, but sung in SS. One record was "Three Coins i n the Fountainn & i t could be part of an ID. nMoon River" played a t 8 : P p might s l so be par t of an I D . I think the announcer mentionad Venezuela - is there one on 11801 (YVOR, R. liaturin is l i s t e d in VRE-66 -ERC) I have about two hours of tape to review. I heard a Cuban on 1200, at about lm, but at the same t ine, a n o t b r SS s ta t ion gave t h e , s l o g a "La Estacion 0:: Pasion." who i s t,his? And what about the SS signal on 12207 A t 11:35p they played commercials fop the "Banco de Corcerciosn & "La Cerveza Coronat * Anyone know i n which country there is a Bank of Commerce, i n which they advertise Corona Beer; (XBI, most l ikely -EX) ' I ' l l probably have the answers f o r m m d these questions, a f t e r I go over the bpes . But can anyone nelp m@ out? The verie s i tua t ion i s s t i l l ridiculous, although WDEV-550 replied w/a v i l . I , m ac t ive ly serding out reports, though. Xey Xrnie, did you ever get an answer from JBC? (NO -ERC) . I f they dont t ver i fy the r e m i t I jus t sent them, we can forget about a JBC QSL. I sent a 2 b i n u t e tap, an IRC, & a Supr-pol i te l e t t e r . My fingers are crossed. A tape w a s also sent out to HJDE-750. Until thesee two-reports, I did not follow the practice of sending tapes - too costly. I now real ize they are good insurance of .r reply. Both HJDK and JBC-750 s e r e in the c lear from 9 -9 : 3 0 p on 3.121. No sign of ISB which usuaily b l a s t s i n from 6:30 on. Other reparts out to HJED VOA-1180 WORA-760 P.R.
