Abstract

This study attempts to identify the most important reasons for the right orientation in Israel. Since the 1967 war and until

2016 (with the return to previous time periods when needed). Based on the historical and analytical approach through

description, survey and analysis through the study of some texts and reports. This study presents several questions, the most

important of which are: What are the most important aspects of this change? and what is the impact of these changes on the

Palestinian issue? The study reached several conclusions, most notably the 1973 war and the political transformation of the

right-wing Likud party; an economic shift from central to liberalism. The signing of the Oslo Accords and the subsequent

Intifada Al-Aqsa, as well as the disengagement from the Gaza Strip. Factors that contributed to the shift to the right and the

rise of identity politics.
