Welcome from Alberta 55 Plus Association President On behalf of the board of Alberta 55 Plus I'd like to welcome all participants to the 2015 Summer Games in Strathmore. I am proud to say that I too will be a participant - for the first time. I'm excited about the future of this organization as it evolves into something that is wonderfully different, yet much the same, as we know it today. Our future will serve the needs of today's "senior" as well as the needs of the "after baby boomer" generation. Each has a distinct set of interests that we are planning to incorporate together into a much stronger group with diverse yet common goals. We will meet the expectations of our members as well as our stake holders taking this organization into a rosy future. A big thanks to the volunteers and organizing committee for all your work, patience, and dedication. Please enjoy this week’s activities. We look forward to hosting you all in the distant future.

Be there! Lea Dashkewytch Alberta 55 Plus Association President

Grandstand Saturday evening brings our biggest show. Here we hope to entertain all of our participants, volunteers, sponsors and remaining seats will be available for purchase by the public. We are starting the evening with an equestrian demonstration by the Sam Steele Scouts. Drew Gregory, a home grown musician, who is an up and coming artist on the Canadian and North American country music scene will then be performing for the crowd.
