1985 – CSAB Incorporated; formed by ACM and IEEE-CS

Responsibilities include- Develop program criteria and recommend general criteria- Recruitment, selection, training, assignment and quality assurance

of program evaluators- Recommend CAC (50+/-), EAC (2), and TAC (1) commissioners- Appoint ABET Board members (3)

Program Evaluators Needed!

Number of programs seeking accreditation continues to grow.

Growth of programs is outpacing growth of evaluator pool.

Peer-review process requires peers—every accredited program should have a CSAB program evaluator within. Benefits the program and accreditation process alike.
