Customization
• Editing the Copyright List
- Documentation at http://www.atlas-sys.com/kb/illiad/10471.html
- Most often used to edit years in the “rule of 5”
Customization
• All borrowing requests with a Request Type of Article default to the Awaiting Copyright queue
- Change this by creating a rule in the routing table in the Customization Manager.
- Refer to the System Routing chapter in the Implementation Guide
Customization
• Page numbers
- When page numbers cannot be calculated, ILLiad defaults to 5 pages. Users can change the default in the Customization Manager
Customization
• Marking Lending Libraries as Copyright Payers
- Some document providers (such as the British Library) include copyright in their fee structure.
- Change to “Copyright Payer” in the Billing Information section of the Edit Addresses (Maintenance)
Customization
• If the automatic search in Copyright Gateway is slowing your workflow down, you can turn it off
- Change the CCCAutoSearch from Yes to No in the Customization Key
- You can still search each request by clicking the search button at the bottom of the Copyright form next to the ISSN box
Customization
• Editing what fields are displayed
- Documentation in the Borrowing Guide under Client Basics, pp. 1-25 through 1-35.
