Process• District Skills Mapping:
NSDC/ SSC to float RFP; Select Vendor & Contract them
Conduct Study – which may include1. To Understand the resource strengths
( Natural, Human Resources, Industrial and other Economic Factors) of all the selected 9districts.
2. To Assess the NEEDS of the students to provide them with alternative livelihoods.
3. To Analyze both the existing and emerging opportunities in Old and New Economic structure.
4. Draw an action plan to freeze opportunities across training and skill development ; Self employment ; Micro Enterprise Development.
• For Curriculum & Courseware: Short term skill development program for
summer holidays One year long skill development program
for school children in Std IX, X, XI, XII as Level 1, Level 2, L3, L4 respectively.
Facilitators’ handbook, lesson plans, equipment list, students workbook, CDs

Process• Teachers Training:
All the selected teachers will be trained as per the curriculum-Domain specific, Life Skills and Facilitation skills
Master Trainers will be engaged to conduct the training
• School selection tool to be used and based upon recommendation selection to be made
• Mobilization: Orientation to all stakeholders in
workshop, Distribute IEC material to principals, Teachers, Coordinators, etc.
Registration, Interest Inventory Test, Counseling- Parent & Students
• Fast track program in selected school and placement of the students
• Main pilot in the new academic session
