What is Drama? Dictionary: a piece of written work that
tells a story and is meant to be performed; this is called a play
An event that has exciting, emotional and/or interesting outcomes; to be dramatic
A type of art

So What is Theatre?
A space where plays (written dramas) are preformed;› Can be a building or just an open space
The process of acting on stage
Theatre = action that is seen
What do you need?
In order to have theatre you need three things:
1. Actors : people to perform the story
2. Audience: people to watch the performance
3. Stage: a place to perform
Everything else helps to make the performance more interesting to watch and easier to understand

Script:

Sound: can be broken into two major parts
Music: helps to express the emotion of the scene
Sound Effects: can be used as part of the background of the set (bird sounds, etc) or to express actions that happen on the stage (door closing, gun shots, etc)
