Sshhh! Wait to listen ! Enjoy to listen …..

Listening is the ability to accurately receive &interpret message in the communication

process listening is key to all effective communication.

Listening is important because good listening allows us to demonstrate that we are

paying attention to the thoughts , feelings & behaviours of other person which is crucial

to maintain productive relationships & sometimes the only way to establish

communication.

Preprimary wing of JGS Nacharam conducted listening activity.

Teachers organised various listening activities for different classes such as Chinese

whisper in which children sat in a circle & a child wouldwhisper a word into the ears of

the first student in the circle . They whisper the word into the next students ear in the

circle until the whisper gets to the last student in the circle, the last student has to say out

the word. Few classes conducted blind fold game & few children were taken to English

lab where the children enjoyed the activity with the help of headset.
