headed by Rev. Fr. Joseph Bernard Rosario (Dominic), the Founder

4. LEAVE OR ABSENCE

1. Absence by the pupil must be supported with a leave letter dulysigned by the parent or guardian on the day of return to the school

2. A pupil, absenting from school for 15 working days without notice, will be marked left.

4. If the absence on account of illness lasts more than 5 days, the application for leave must be accompanied with a Medical Certificate.

5. No pupil will be allowed to appear for the final exam, if the attendance for the year is inadequate.

6. A pupil who comes late or is absent on the previous day may

not enter the class room without the permission of the principal.

6. REGULATIONS OF THE SCHOOL

1. Every pupil is expected to be present at the school for the daily assembly.

2. It is compulsory for every pupil to come to school in full uniform including foot wear. (PET uniform on Wednesdays).

3. Pupils are expected to speak only in English within the school campus.

4. Pupils are expected to participate in all the activities of the school.

5. Any damage done in class or around the premises by the pupils will have to be repaired or replaced by them.

6. No magazines, novels, DVDs, cameras and mobile phones shall be brought to the school.

7. No ornaments or jewellery of any kind should be worn by the pupil to the school.

8. Gifts or donations to the teachers are totally forbidden.

9. Forging the signature of the parents or the teachers or altering marks will be treated as grave mistakes.

10. All communications must be addressed to the principal and not to the class teachers.

11. Pupils are not allowed to communicate with the parents or visitors during the school hours without due permission.

12. Parents and Guardians are requested not to meet their children or the teachers during class hours without prior permission from the principal.

13. Parents are expected to make themselves available on the open days along with the academic assessment folder.

14. Reports which are sent to parents from time to time should be duly signed and taken note of.

15. Parents are kindly requested to take their children only from the assigned parking area.

9. SOME SUGGESTIONS TO THE PARENTS

1. Know the names and faces of your child’s teachers. Be polite and gentle while dealing with them.

2. Be present in school for all programmes at the invitation.

3. Have positive attitudes towards education, school and teachers.

4. Monitor the study hours of your children at home.

5. Limit the use of television. An overdose of mass media makes your children entertained rather than educated.

6. Both the parents should read the report card and sign.

7. Provide your children nourishing food in sufficient measure.

8. Subscribe at least one English newspaper and one good magazine for your children to read.

9. Help your children learn habits of punctuality and cleanliness.

10. Listen to your children’s problems.

11. Find time to talk to your children at home in a relaxed atmosphere. Growing children need the companionship of understanding parents. Give your children proper parental affection.

12. Train your children in good manners, work habits, decent language and proper use of time.

13. Do not criticize your children’s teachers in front of your children.
