One of the most valuable aspects of the Oil Heritage Festival is the effort given by community organizations and volunteers in order to work together in coordinating activities and helping the festival run smoothly. A glance at the week’s schedule shows the many events that are run solely by community organizations. These organizations completely plan and execute these events as part of the Oil Heritage Festival. These events include:

We’d also like to thank the volunteers who help us during the festival! We have many community members give their time in order to make sure that the festival goes well, including workers at Headquarters, in the park, at the Craft Show, with the button raffle, around the city, at the Venango Area Chamber office and more. Please join us in thanking all of our local organizations, volunteers, and the staff of the City of Oil City for helping make the Oil Heritage Festival a great festival!
