Creating the account is easy and freeIf you are creating an account as a teacher.. You click teacher. For Student, click student.Few fields to fill in and thats it.5

So as a teacher, this is what your page would look like: (Just a visual, will go into detail later)Make groups, join communities based on subjects to get resoucesPost assignments, reminders, polls, discussions, quizesYou have a profile, picture, little about yourself and all your information below, just like Facebook.

Edmodo has the power to keep a record of grades and to grade assignments/quizzes right on the siteTeachers can add comments for feedbackStudents can comment back tooThis is good for keeping a permanent record of student/teacher communication14Create a quiz

Now you can make a quizTitle the quiz and give a message for instructionsYou can set due dates, time limits, number of triesStudents can also see their grades.

15Innovative Classroom Tips:Playground- An open forum for students to communicate with set guidelines and boundariesIn the News- Create a current event group that allows students to post articles and blogs that are relevant to classroom curriculumJournal Entries- post classroom activities/material and create a folder where students can write response journalsAnnouncements- highlight birthdays, college acceptance, sporting events, and other student milestones
