Is Christmas coming too fast for you? Slow down with Advent!

The Christnias season seellljl to start sooner every year. Many stores put up Christmas decorations the day after Halloween! We are prcsso" •d to engage in a two-month spending frenzy. The anxiety builds as the shopping days dwindle. So many gifts that still need to be bought! So many parties to atttnd! So many family gatherings to plan! No wonder we often feel deflated when Christmas Day finally arrives'

There is an alternative. For thousands of years Christian people have observed the four weeks before Christmas as the season of Advent. This is a time of quiet, spiritual reflection-during which we prepare for the coming of God into the world as a human being named Jesus.

We invite you to experience AQ.vent at your local Episcopal (Anglican) Church ..
