S.T.O.M.P SPORTS CAMP AGES: 6-12YRS
JJ Camp Notes: Kids must be at least 4, potty trained, and be able to put on their own clothes. Includes 30 min swim lesson each day and supervised splash pad time on Thur. Please pack a lunch. Before and after care available for $2.50/hour (maximum of 2 hours per visit.) Non-Members must pay for Kids Klub care on a daily basis.
Camp Notes: Bring a sack lunch and snack. No snack bar purchases allowed during camp. Includes swimming. Kids who cannot swim must bring a life jacket. Bring everything in a backpack. Drop off in Gym 2 @ Gresham and The Cove at Fisher’s Landing. NO I-PODS, CELL PHONES or OTHER ELECTRONICS. Please wear athletic type clothes, tennis shoes and socks (no sandals) and wear sunscreen. DJ Shaw is a basketball skills specialist and curriculum developer located in Portland, Oregon. Shaw is the owner of DJ Shaw Hoops and the Director of Hoop Diaries, conducting and leading
training programs all over the country as well as consulting for Nike Basketball, Nike N7, and the Jordan brand. At the 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, he consulted for the Nike Basket-ball event, The Other Side of the Game. Shaw attended and played basketball for St. Helens High
School, Yakima Valley Community College, and Concordia University.
Raised in Portland, Steffen Harvey uses his passion for working with youth and adult athletes to help develop complete basketball players. He also works with Nike Basketball and Hoop Diaries.
After playing and graduating with a degree in business management, Steffen spent 3 seasons playing professionally in Germany and 3 seasons in the minor leagues of the US. He is currently in
his 5th season as the Assistant Coach for the men’s basketball team at Warner Pacific.

CAC Sharks Summer Swim LeagueReady to take your swimming to a new level? Looking for a fun, social and physical
group in which to belong this summer? Then our CAC Sharks Summer Swim League is for you! Work on your stroke and turn techniques while building endurance in the water. A variety of games and activities will keep the class low key and FUN! This
class is great for the child who is beyond lessons but not yet ready for or interested in a year round competitive swim team.
A fun inter-squad meet will close out the summer. 6/19-8/19 M-Th Ages 7 &up.

Classes in the outdoor pools are held regardless of weath-er. If you bring other children to watch, they must remain by your side at all times. Non-member children may not be in the pool or splash pad areas. Non-members must leave the facilities at the conclusion of each lesson. Cancellation Policy: - If you cancel from a Program at least 5 business days prior to the start, you will be refunded all but $5.
- If you cancel after 5 business days from the start of the program we will pro-rate a refund for you IF we find someone to take your place.
All Classes must meet a minimum number of enrollees to be offered. Classes with insufficient registration will either be cancelled or combined. We may need to move a class 60 min earlier or later. FIT CLASSES: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!CHOOSING A CLASS 1. Choose a class style that sounds good to you and meets your goals. 2. Find a class that works into your schedule. 3. Try out several different class styles and instructors, or feel free to just watch a class. 4. Try each class 2 or 3 times before you choose which one is right for you.
You are welcome to observe any class. If you are attending a class for the first time, please introduce yourself to the instructor at the start of the hour. If you are not sure which class is best for you, contact your club’s Group Fitness Director.
WHAT TO WEAR 1. Most important is good athletic or cross training shoes. 2. Most women wear t-shirts and tights or shorts while the men wear t-shirts and shorts. (No midriff tops)
YOUR FIRST CLASS 1. Introduce yourself to your instructor. 2. Don’t feel you need to coordinate the foot movements with the arms. Learn the foot work first and then add your arms.3. Work at your own pace, and slow down if you are tired. 4. It is okay to take breaks, or not complete the entire class.

muscles with this high-rep weight training workout. Using an adjustable barbell, weight plates, and body weight, Group Power combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercises. Weight & Cardio Floor PoliciesAll kids aged 10-15 must complete a Youth Fitness Orientation with a Personal Trainer BEFORE being in the weight or cardio workout areas.
Kids 10-11 must be accompanied by an adult AT ALL times in the facility.
Kids 12-15 may be in workout areas without supervision after taking the Jr. Certification Test.
Always Be Courteous:- Please wipe off your equipment after each use.- Replace all weight plates after use.- Return all equipment to proper spot when finished.- Keep equipment in good shape by keeping weight belt buckles, pant zippers, studs & sharp objects away from the upholstery.- Avoid grunting. Free: It is available to kids on your MembershipThe Youth Fitness Orientation (YFO) at Cascade Athletic Clubs is designed to encourage kids to exercise together with their families, while maintaining a controlled, safe and fun environment for all. These appointments with a Personal Trainer will prepare youth to safely gain the benef i ts of exercise whi le maintaining our adult member environment. Youth members wi l l be educated on club polices & procedures as well as exercise safety guidelines and technique. Children will need to demonstrate to their Fitness Trainer they understand and can properly operate all fitness equipment. Upon Completion of YFO 10-11 Yr Olds may use the Club with DIRECT SUPERVISION OF AN ADULT 18 & OLDER. All kids ages 12-15 who wish to use the Club WITHOUT adult supervision (pools excluded) must first complete and pass a Jr. Certification test available at the Service Desk.

We feature the popular Heartland Ovation Sunbeds with the hottest 15 minute bulbs on the market. We guarantee the bulbs in all beds are changed every 800 hours. (Recommended is 1000 hrs). This is a condensed version of the Court Reservation Policy. If you are not familiar with the complete Policies, please pick up a copy at the Service Desk or review the copy located on the Racquetball and Tennis Bulletin Boards. All policies are to assure maximum court time for all.
YOU MAY CALL FOR A COURT RESERVATION NO EARLIER THAN 6AM AND RESERVE FOR UP TO TWO DAYS IN AD-VANCE. (ie: You can call Monday for a Wednesday Court Time). On weekends you may call when we open - Sat at 6:30am and Sundays at 7am.Reserving Courts1. The names of the players on the Reservation Sheet must be the ones who are playing on that court. 2. A Member may only make court reservations for themselves or those on their Family Membership. 3. One reservation may be on the books at any one time for a Member. An Individual Membership may have one reservation, a Family Membership may have two. Another court may not be reserved until the first one has been used. 4. If a Member is found to have two reservations on the books at the same time, the later reservation will be erased and a reasonable effort will be made to notify the Members of the cancellation.5. Using “Guest” to reserve a court will incur a $12 charge to the member reserving the court at the time of reservation.No Shows/Cancellations1. A Two Hour Cancellation Policy is in effect at all times. If the Club is contacted less than 2 hours prior to a scheduled court time, a ‘No Show’ fee of $12 will be charged if the court remains unused. 2. If either player fails to show up for a reserved court time (10 minute grace), a ‘No Show’ fee of $12 will be charged. (The player’s names who are on the court sheet, must be the ones to use that court.)Check In:Upon arriving at the Club, inform the Service Desk that you have a court. By checking in, we can confirm your court as-signment and not give it away.
Tennis: If you are playing in a scheduled activity of any kind (USTA, City League, etc.) you may not have another reserved court on that same day of play. However, walk-ons are always welcome. Ap-propriate tennis attire is required and non-marking court shoes. No tank tops for men.
Racquetball: Everyone 18 & under must wear lensed protective eye wear while on the court. Lensed eye wear is strongly recommended for adults.

Enjoy use of quality clubs in the Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana). You can get a Single Trip Card or an An-nual Card. At most Clubs, you receive free use of the facilities (some exceptions apply). A complete list of Clubs in the FitLife Fitness-To-Go Program can be obtained from a Membership Director at your home club.
Portland Metro Reciprocal Use ProgramDo you have a friend across town you would like to work out with? Someone who is a member of a FitLife Club? Or, are you ever on the west side of PDX and have time for a workout but no place to go? You can get a three visit pass to any Portland Metro FitLife Club from a CAC Membership Director and workout for FREE! At present, this includes the following clubs (but remember, your home club needs to be at least 7 miles from the FitLife Club you wish to use): Eastside Athletic Club, Hawthorne Farm, Lloyd Athletic Club, RiverPlace Athletic Club, Sunset Athletic Club and Westside Athletic Club. (Mt. Hood Athletic Club excluded). You must get a Pass in advance; 3 visits per month; like services only; rball and tennis are walk on courts only; must present your membership key-tag, picture ID and FitLife Pass; parameters and club locations subject to change.
CAC INTER-CLUB UPGRADE POLICIESIf you are a member of the following clubs, you may use the clubs for free or for an upgrade fee as indicated below. You may only upgrade one time each month. If you are interested in using one of the other clubs or other facilities not included in your current membership more than one time per month, please see a Membership Director about upgrading your membership. *The Easy Start or Dues Saver Membership does not have an upgrade option to allow access to other Cascade Athletic Clubs.
