Treatment of feeding issues in a young child can be extremely difficult and frustrating. There are many approaches in the treatment of pediatric feeding issues. Since 1998, Dr. Casey has effectively used Applied Behavior Analysis in the treatment of pediatric feeding problems, resulting in life-changing outcomes for children. The workshop, lead by Dr. Sean Casey, Ph.D., BCBA-D, will discuss effective behavior analytical strategies to create successful outcomes for children with feeding disorders. Dr. Casey will provide information on assessment, treatment design, treatment implementation and outcomes from several case studies.

About Dr. Casey Dr. Casey, a graduate of the University of Iowa, has over 20 years experience working with children with severe feeding problems and their families. Dr. Casey’s program includes comprehensive in-home assessment, treatment, and parent training. Dr. Casey is dedicated to provide families the highest quality program supported by current research and treatment strategies.
Who should attend? Parents of children with feeding problems, pediatricians, OTs, PTs, SLPs, special educators, psychologists, social workers, and behavior analysts. Goals of workshop: Provide participants with information on current research-based, effective practices in the area of pediatric feeding disorders. Participants will be able to identify behavioral-based strategies and resources to promote positive feeding behavior.
