Window transparencies, stars, Santa Clauses, Madonna and Nativity scene pictures on the bulletin boards, secret gift and card making — all go to make up Christmas. We are practicing for an assem- bly program to be presented Mon- day, Dec. 21, at 10 a. nt It is called "The First Noel" and trays the story of Jesus' n i e singing of the beloved Christ- mas carols will be a part of the program. The public is invited. Sixth Grade We are glad to have Warren Todd back to sdiooL Last Friday night some boys in the sixth grade boxed at the game. They were Gordon McMurray, George Bull and Jerry Ladenheim. Several ot our diss members are suffering with diickenpox and have been absent seevral weeks. We'll be very glad to welcome them back. Third Grade We are finishing our Colonial unit. We are going to have an old-fashioned Christmas tree. We -are going to put our Colonial dolls and toys under our tree. We have hung up our Christmas stocking. We are going to work hard in spelling b^use if we miss a word it means a hole in our stocking. Virginia Rowe, who has been attending the Weaver hollow school, is back in our room. Second Grade We welcome fwo n6W members to our class, Cecil and Audrey Spencer. We hope they enjoy their stay with us. Our room be- gins to look like Christmas and mudi of our time is now, spent in making gifts for fathere and mothers, singing .Christmas songs, listening to and reading Christ- mas stories and practicing for our program Dec. 23. We hope our fathers and mothers come. Club News By Sam Sheldon The Megaphone is ejroected to crane out Friday, Dec. 18. The members of the faculty lield thw annual Christmas party Thursday night Intramural Basicetball Monday, Boggs' and Shultis' teams clashed. ITie game was a fast one with Boggs leading all the way. The final score was 25 to 15 in favtn* of Bogm. Wednesday, Odell leaved Boi team. The latter won by «oore. Friday, Polley played Shultis* team. Polley and Shultis had to ooadti from the sidelines. PoUejr's ^UtdB ooadiing supplied the winning margin of 10-6. Sports Last Friday MCS again de- feated Fleisdimanns by a score of X to 31. Fleisdimanns led throughout the entire game until the last quarter when MCS scored 17 points to Fleisdimanns' five. Fleisdimanns played good ball all the way while MCS was off. The scorer for FHS was Junior Pultz with 11 points. Boggs and PoUey were h i ^ for Margaret-' ville with 15 and 13 pwnts, re- spectively. Fifth Grade News Our room is taldng on quite a
