training. The company is certified to develop specialised training pro-

Magtel trains on average 340 people a year with a high degree of labour

market integration in the sectors in which they have been trained.

Likewise, the company has placement programmes with over 20 uni-

versities and over 80 secondary schools, as well as numerous insti-

tutions. These programmes enable a close relationship to be estab-

lished between the educational centre and the company, and allow

PIPE MANUFACTURING FIBER OPTIC

Magtel executes the deployment of urban and interurban fiber optic networks through last generation technologies. The company under-

takes the engineering, construction and maintenance of electronic communications access and transportation fiber optic networks. The

deployment of the access network consists of the creation, provision and control of the civil work (conduits, surface boxes, chambers, posts,

units, etc.), as well as the fiber optic transmission equipment.

La Castilleja is a fixed panel photovoltaic plant located in La Carlota, a

municipality in Córdoba province (Spain) with 9.8 MW power. Promoted,

constructed and operated by Magtel.

Magtel has several wind projects in Andalusia and Extremadura in its

portfolio, with which it maintains its commitment to developing and pro-

moting renewable energies.

La Africana is a 50 MW, 692-acre operational thermosolar plant. Located

in Córdoba province, it generates 180 million kWh/year, equivalent to the

consumption of 100,000 homes.

Promotion of a biomass plant located in Jaén province. The installa-

tion is designed to generate energy from biological resources.

Modernisation works on the telecommunications system, electricity, ac-

cesses and installations of four large reservoirs in Jaén province. The

budget exceeded €800,000.

Deployment of FTTH networks. Turnkey projects ranging from initial en-

gineering, through installation and maintenance to the end client. Innova-

tive solutions in urban and interurban areas through infrastructures such

as sanitation networks or easement networks.

Development of a project combining equipment, communications sys-

tems and software for the monitoring and optimisation of photovoltaic

plants. An application that enables performance to be increased through

sophisticated control and security systems.

Provision and installation of 104,000 micro water meters in Asunción, Par-

aguay to improve the control and systemization of water consumption.

he Railway Infrastructures Division has offered specialist services in large

works such as the Seville Metro, Madrid Metrosur and Zaragoza-Barcelona,

Madrid-Valladolid, Madrid-Levante and Córdoba-Málaga high speed lines.

Magtel’s Photovoltaic Project Maintenance Division offers corrective

maintenance services, thereby minimising turnaround time, own mon-

itoring and control software, permanent telecontrol through a call

centre, PR guarantee, cleaning, security and fully comprehensive risk

insurance, including loss of income.

Magtel is responsible for the supervision of the deployment phase of the

National Dorsal Fiber Optic Network of Peru (RDNFO) Project. The sur-

face area of this network exceeds 8,078 miles and will enable 180 prov-

ince capitals of the country to be connected.

Engineering, construction and maintenance of low, medium and high

voltage power distribution grids, both overhead and underground, in dif-

ferent provinces of Andalusia. Magtel executed these works for Endesa

Energía and Endesa Distribución Eléctrica.

The Polyethylene Element Manufacturing Division supplies the country’s

main construction firms, as well as company clients in the telecommu-

nications, electricity and water sectors. One example is the supply of

656,168 feet of pipe for the San Fernando Tram in Cádiz.

The IT Division offers specialist services for the integration of fleet management

and documentary management systems into utilities’ and affiliates’ operations.

The IT Division offers consulting, technical office, management and inte-

gration of IT projects services. Outstanding projects include those for the

Corporate Network of the Autonomous Government of Andalusia and the

Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism through Red.es in Spain, and the

Ministry of Transport and Communications of Peru.

The R&D&i Division manages over €1.5 million a year allocated to state-of-

the-art projects. Outstanding projects include solutions to optimise oper-

ational and maintenance work in renewables plants and the application of

systems based on artificial vision, augmented reality and geopositioning

in the C&IT, health and environment sectors.
