    Introducing Cambridge

Cambridge is a beautiful historic city. Its world famous

university was established in the 13th century. The beautiful

architecture, parks and attractions bring people from all over

the world. In 2011 approximately 4.5 million people visited thetown. Cambridge is not a large city and has a population of

about 120,000 people. So it is a good location for people who

want to be based in a medium sized town not far from London.

Cambridge benefits from a pleasant and moderate climate.

One of Cambridges greatest features is the city centre. Visitors

can wander round the picturesque streets and see the famouscolleges.

Apart from the many shops there are also a very large number

of restaurants, pubs and clubs so there is always plenty to do

    in the evenings.

Alternatively students can enjoy the wonderful parks such as

The Backs, Parkers Piece or Midsummer Common. In addition

    there are the Botanical Gardens.

    Cambridge Festivals

    Every year there are exciting

    festivals and events such as

    Strawberry Fair, The Cambridge

Folk Festival or the Summer In

    The City celebration.

    The Cambridge festival of music

    presents international musicians

    performing in King's College

    Chapel during Holy Week and

    Easter.

In the summer there is also an 8

    week Shakespeare festival in the

    University Gardens.

    LSI Cambridge Student Testimonials

Every year hundreds of students choose to study at LSICambridge. They have a great time and tell their friends. Here is

what a few of our students have said about us:

The atmosphere is great. It is

    the right mixture between

    education and amusement.

    Moreover, the staff and host

    families make people enjoy it

    even more- Patricia del Pilar

    Lozano Hoyos

Our school has not too many

    people at this moment. So

    the advantage is the school

    has a really friendly

    atmosphere. For students

who stay here alone it isreally important to have

    someone who listens and

solves their problems. The staff of the school always listens to

    our requests- Kyoung-Youn Park

I think you can find a good balance in

all things, the school, the teachers

    and accommodation. They have a

    different social programme for each

    week as well.

LSI has different types of courses for

all kinds of people and the level of

    English that the person has.

In my case I have been in different ones,

for example normal lessons, BusinessClasses and the FCE course and I can say that in each one I have

learned a lot of things. I can say I made a good decision choosing this
