Economic development : The building in Hong Kong affect the ecology in wetland greatly.As the rapid development is so harmful to wetland, it destroy the habitat of the ecology in wetland, so government should concern on the wetland more protectively.

Public facilities

KCR West Rail planned to build a rail near the wetland is a recent case.This will damage the soil quality,in turn the ecology.

The construction of facilities will affect the species in wetland too.Then,they will not come to wetland of HKAgain.

Effluent from factory in Pearl Delta

The Pearl River joins the sea between Hong Kong and Macau, It is a very muddy river, and the delta is very wide.

Therefore, this will damage the whole ecology in wetland include margroves and different kind of populations. 

Disturbance of tourists: 

These projects will threaten ecology there as the project will be considered to build the facilities as to suit the tourists’ need.For instance, toilets, water pipes etc. Also, tourism development will affect the natural environment and the farms near the wetland.
