ABOUT MIRIAM HYMAN
Miriam was one of the fifty-two people killed in the 2005 London bombings.
Her family and friends decided to respond positively.
They set up the Miriam Hyman Memorial Trust in May 2008 and equipped the Miriam Hyman Children's Eye Care Centre (MHCECC) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
THE MHMT In addition to its work in India, the Miriam Hyman
Memorial Trust aims to promote understanding and tolerance between different communities.
FUNDRAISING FOR MHMT
We are going to hold a fundraising event for the benefit of the Outreach Programme at the MHCECC.
We will all be involved in the planning, organisation and running of the event
THE FUNDRAISING EVENT Through your “Miriam’s Vision” B&E module,
the fundraising event will be in aid of the Outreach Programme at the MHCECC in Bhubaneswar, India.
For example, £2.50 raised will buy a pair of glasses for someone who can’t travel to the MHCECC.
The theme will be “Appreciating our differences in order to make a difference”
