Monroe Township Builders Club is a service learning club that meets one or two times a month. The club consists of students at Monroe Township Middle School. Students in the club are in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. There are over 50 students that are active members. During the school year we try to do one activity a month as well as sponsor several year round activities.

Officers made presentations for their charities, members voted to raise money for the SPCA
February 2012 Make-A-Wish donation of $2500 to
sponsor a child’s wish to have a tree house.
$500 raised through Pretzel Sales and donated to the Middlesex County SPCA.
March 2012 Spring Food drive: Through the Fall and
Spring Food Drives, Builders Club collected over 2,500 pounds of food. Food was donated to the Rossmoor Food Bank, local families in our schools as well as:
May 2012 May Madness volleyball tournament –
joint venture with the Student Council. Profits raised went to the Medium Steps charity. Teams that are entering the Volleyball Tournament will be donating food for local food pantries.
