“For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy.” LUKE 1:44 When you hear the scripture readings and Gospel reading each Sunday, do you “leap for joy?” If not, don’t blame the lecturer or priest, rather look inside yourself. Do you prepare for Mass each week or do you just show up and expect to be entertained? We are called to be active participants, not passive by-standers.

The policies will reflect recent legislative changes and importantly reflect our vision to create a strong culture of excellence in safeguarding children and young people. Our Parish Child Safety Policy will be reviewed in light of the new Archdiocesan documents by August 2019. Until the launch of the new policies we will continue to use existing documents. In October 2020, the Catholic Church is gathering to make plans and decisions for the future. Your voice is needed to help create the agenda. What are your experiences of God in your life, your faith and the Church?

What do you think God is asking of us in Australia?

Your story matters Please take a card at the back of the Church and share a story of your experiences of your faith or the Church to give context to your response to this question. There is a box to place your card at the back when finished.

Thank You Moonee Ponds Parish for your generosity for our Giving Tree and also for donating to Melbourne Overseas Mission. The Moonee Ponds Conference of the St Vincent de Paul Society have made up food
