From the Pastor
Thank you for your help during our Fun Fest! It was very humbling to see
the IBC family turnout to welcome our neighborhood to our church. I know
the weather limited our crowd, but we probably were close to 1,000 people
in attendance. So, for all the hot dogs, candy, and smiles given away last
Wednesday, thank you for your hospitality!
This coming Wednesday evening will be our annual Thanksgiving meal.
I hope you have reserved your places for a great night of fellowship. It is always a special
time to see our church family together in a less formal atmosphere. As always, our team
will be working hard to make another great meal.
As usual, this time of year is filled with opportunities to bless others. Please pray about
which ministry or ministries in which the Lord may have you participate. Our Shoe Boxes
for Operation Christmas Child will be collected the week of our Thanksgiving meal.
House of Faith is also collecting $25 gifts for children of Reagan Elementary. Our Sunday
Bible Study classes are collecting specific items for Thanksgiving meals for families in our
neighborhood which will be delivered November 19th.
It was a joy to welcome the Campbell family to our church this past Sunday. I know you
will enjoy getting to know them. Pray for our youth ministry as they begin another chapter
in the life of IBC!
With a thankful heart,
Bro. Tommy
