The DVB-S2/ACM Tuner is an integrated part of the iNetVu® 7000 Series Controllers. It allows
the iNetVu® system the option to find the satellite with and without the use of a satellite

Low Cost Phased Array Antenna System for Ka-band Mobile SOTM Summary
C-COM Satellite Systems, in partnership with the University of
Waterloo, is creating its first Phased Array Antenna (PAA).
C-COM tested its Ka-band Phased Array modules using the
company’s patent-pending phase shifter technology in the
summer of 2016.
The proof of concept prototype is expected to come out in 2019.
The concept is based on modules that are small, but contain
everything — the antenna, plus the electronic circuit, parts of
the control circuitry, and local memory.

Low Cost Passive Phased Array Antenna Development
Based on C-COM Patented Dielectric-Based Phase
Shifting (BLT) Technology.
Shows high phase shift range >360deg and low
insertion loss over very wideband (28.5-30.5 GHz).
Compact and low power consumption.
First 1x4 CP Passive Phased-array prototype
measured and results looks very promising. Beam
steered up to +-38deg in elevation and the gain only
drops by 1dB at 38deg scan angles.
Now 4x4 Passive Phased-array module being
developed and to be tested soon!

Novel Dielectric-Based Patented Phase Shifter
Operating Principle:
Based on coplanar waveguide (CPW) combined with a dielectric
slab (BLT ceramic) and High Resistivity Silicon (HRS) ;
Phase shift is tuned by reconfiguring the phase shifter
components via physical actuation;
Distances can be changed using piezoelectric transducers or
micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) actuators
