Securing deployed devices took so much time.

I used multiple solutions to manage a variety of devices.

Before

Teachers Spend More Time Inspiring, IT Administrators Manage More Effectively

Now

Updates happen seamlessly in the background. I have more control over what gets installed and can implement web filtering to facilitate safe searching, from anywhere using a web browser

Using the Chrome Management Console*,I can deploy and manage all our Chromebooks* at once, and even lock down devices easily for delivery of online tests.

I had to closely monitor my students while test-taking using other devices. If not, tests were administered using paper and pencil, and data wasn’t always available in time to impact my teaching.

Device management allows me to quickly turn off camera, turn off screenshots, printing – all the things that need to be turned off in order to keep students in a secure testing environment.

Google* Octane* 2.0 is a benchmark from Google that measures the performance of rich web applications

WebXPRT is is a benchmark by Principled Technologies that uses scenarios created to mirror the tasks you do every day to compare the performance of almost any Web-enabled device. It contains four HTML5- and JavaScript-based workloads: Photo Effects, Face Detect, Stocks Dashboard, and Offline Notes

Sunspider is a JavaScript benchmark. This benchmark tests the core JavaScript language only, not the DOM or other browser APIs. It is designed to compare different versions of the same browser, and different browsers to each other. Unlike many widely available JavaScript benchmarks, this test is real world, balanced, and statistically sound.
