Reopen the west entrance and restore the lobby to use as

an entry and gathering/exhibit space Create an accessible route from the reopened west

3,000 square foot entrance of Deering (with 3M security equipment)

Restoring the historic lobby interiors Refurbishing wall-mounted display cases New floor exhibit cases to match the interior

décor with security hardware and temperature/humidity controls

Provide an accessible route from the west entrance

of Deering Library to the University Library Restoring exterior doors and lighting at the west

entrance, and Installing large display monitors along the first

floor corridor that connects Deering with the University Library

Constructing an accessible ramp leading to the west entrance
