Greg Moore has changed the culture of the CSUN Baseball pro-gram both on and off the field. Over the past three seasons, he has led the Matadors to 92 victo-ries. The team has won over 90 Division I games over a three-year span for just the second time in program history. In the classroom, the team has reached

unprecedented success and set new program GPA records. Prior to the 2018 season, the Matadors posted a 3.05 GPA for

the fall semester, setting a new program record. This past season, CSUN posted its most conference wins (12)

and tied the 2013 team for the program’s best finish in the con-ference in 15 years. CSUN recorded four victories over national-ly-ranked teams, which include Vanderbilt (twice), Long Beach State and Cal State Fullerton. In addition, the team won its first ever series over an SEC team (Vanderbilt). The series win against the Commodores also gave the Matadors their first series win over a nationally-ranked team since 2009. Conner O’Neil was selected by the New York Mets (7th round) in the 2017 MLB First-Year Player Draft.

He served in that capacity until 2009, when he took a position as the pitching coach at the University of Washington for one season before heading back to his alma mater.

Three members of his pitching staff were drafted in 2012 and under his leadership the team achieved a program best 3.24 GPA last fall. In 2005, the USF pitching staff had a conference-best 2.86 ERA, ranking 6th nationally.
