The yarn is structured and processed to its
form using 61 circular knitting machines and 8
flat knitting machines which cater to different
dimensions and types of structures. Mercury has
a capacity of producing 13-15 tons of knit-fabric
a day using machines sourced from globally
acclaimed manufacturers from Japan, Germany
and Italy.

The Greige store acts as a warehouse for interim inspection and distribution of the Greige
fabric for further processing. The greige fabric is slit using the high precision Italian Bianco
slitter to the required form if necessary.

LAB
The Color lab is an integral part of the
manufacturing process, enabling precision
dyeing and color matching. The dye floor &
dye kitchen are equipped with Thermo chem,
Thermo dye and Thermo powder recipe
management that enhances the right first
time dyeing level and completely eliminates
manual errors in the mixing of colours. The lab
is accredited by leading international fashion
labels and institutions. Accurate and efficient
equipment such as Macbeth Spectrometer
and Daclin Starlet are deployed for the right
first time dyeing.

Rope dyeing machine
and the German Thies.
Mercury is equipped
with 27 machines and
8 Sampling Machines
capable of handling
various volumes of
dyeing. The machines
have a pre-installed VDU
system which provides
complete control over
the various parameters of
dyeing.

Printing is one of the most important value adding service
provided by Mercury. Printing is done using the Italian
Regianni Rotary and the Dutch Stormac Rd 8. Baby Regianni
printing machines are used for producing samples, which
are 100% fit for use. The Italian Mezzera washer provides

multiple functions of de-sizing, bleaching, washing of dyed
and printed products with very low consumption of water
and steam. Mercury Is capable of producing an enormous
quantity of upto 12 tons of printed fabric a day.

FINISHINGFinishing of fabrics can be performed after
dyeing, printing or at the greige stage (heatset)
respectively. Mercury uses the globally
acclaimed Bianco compactor for
compaction while controlling the width and the
gsm of the fabric. The Padder is used to add an
even coating of softener to the fabric. Mercury
deploys the Ehwa Stenter to stretch or
pre-stretch the fabric before heat setting.

The QC&A is an integral part of Mercury which
assures a thorough inspection of the produce before
dispatching. Levels of surveillance are ensured
throughout by interim inspections, while complying
with international protocols. Mercury ensures a zero
defect product through the strict protocols.
