First Week of SchoolFirst Days of Classes: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• 8-period DaysCycle Days 1, 2, and 5
• Study Halls
Study, complete tasks, review, read, organize notes, and
plan. Set and maintain good habits.
Lunch Schedule• Three lunches every day
• Monday, Tuesday, and Friday (8 Period)
• Lunch is on your schedule (A, B, C).
• Band students will be assigned a lunch by Mr. Drew.
• Wednesday and Thursday (4 Block)• The teacher will inform you as to whether you have 1st, 2nd,
or 3rd lunch.
Schedule Changes• If you are missing a core class (English, Math, Science,
or Social Studies), contact guidance any day during the
first week of school.
• There will be no September drop/add period.
• No student is permitted to request a withdraw from a scheduled course until 15 class meetings have occurred.
• Only changes considered scheduling errors, or those
initiated by teachers, counselors, or administrators, will be considered.
Eligibility• School administration will run a grade report every
two weeks on Friday morning starting the third week in September.
• If a student is failing more than one credit, he or she will be ineligible until the next grade report is run. You may participate in practices but no competitions.
• If at the end of a marking period, a student is failing more than one credit, the student will be ineligible for the first 15 days of the following marking period.
Eligibility• Students must be in school by 10:30 A.M.
• Students must be in school for at least half of the day to participate in any extra-curricular activity.
• If a student uses an early dismissal for any reason, he or she is expected to return at a reasonable time.
Attendance and Grades
The better your attendance, the better your grades, and the better start to your future here at RHS and beyond.
Attendance
• Late to Homeroom❑ Report directly to the HR at 8:30 A.M.
❑ Students who are late to homeroom, or arrive after homeroom, must
sign in with Ms. Querze at the Attendance Office.
❑ Excessive tardiness will be addressed with disciplinary
consequences.
• Absences and Dismissals
❑ Following an absence, students must produce a note within 3 days
for an absence to be considered excused.
❑ After 3 unexcused absences per semester, it will become
a truancy issue.
❑ Submit early dismissals to Ms. Querze in the attendance office prior
to homeroom.
❑ Always sign in and out when arriving or leaving.
❑ All Attendance information is clearly outlined in the Student Handbook.

At Radnor High School, students are only
permitted to use cell phones in non-
academic areas unless instructed
otherwise.
Cell phones are never permitted in the
classroom, the auditorium, the black box,
or the gym!

(extended community period).
