In using his eye as a wireless video camera, Spence wants to make a documentary about how video and humanity intersect especially with regards to surveillance.

Tanya Vlach (Lost eye in 2005 “car crash”) “It is possible to build a wireless camera with

the dimensions of the eyeball," said Roy Want, a senior principal engineer at Intel.

Spence points out, "I'm making the eye. She's talking about making the eye, I'm actually in the lab with Steve Mann.“
