The Paper Design library was born out of the desire to empower young designers, architects, photographers and creative
professionals with all the tools they need to create their best work. Our members will have access to architectural material
samples, textiles, drafting tools, 3D printing as well as a full service photography studio and consulting services. We wish to level
the playing field for the next generation of creative talent and to connect the global design community in Shanghai.

design oriented community and guests. Suitable for casual groups,
power lunches and rooftop drinks. We envision a concept
reminiscent of The Modern at The MoMa museum.

Since 2016 Paper has become a destination for the
design community in Shanghai. From interior
designers, architects, real estate developers, media
influencers and creative companies to the most
well curated showroom of global design brands, we
wish to create a design centric ecosystem to spur
project collaborations and ultimately drive success
for our members and brands.

The Paper Design Library is located on the North Bund in the new Sinar Mas shopping plaza in the heart of the new shopping + retail district. Adjacent to the W Hotel, our building sits atop the 12 Line International Cruise Ship terminal stop and is conveniently accessible via Metro and car for both Puxi + Pudong commuters.
