In the Beginning

The company was made in January of 1964 by Bill Bowerman and Philip Knight.

The founders named it after a Greek Goddess Nike The Goddess of victory.

What is Nike?

Nike is a Company that makes Athletic equipment, clothing, and shoes.

Nike also sponsors many athletes. For example Michael Jordan

Nike Now

Now Nike gear is sold all over the world.

There are even some Nike stores open today.

Different Parts of Nike

There are many different parts of Nike, there are Nike Golf, Nike+, Nike Pro, Nike SB (Skateboarding), and Air Jordan

Nike also Bought Bauer Hockey which turned into Nike Bauer
