acre-feet would be left ln storage on September 30 to be carrled over to

Ëhe nexÈ year. The'dlstrfbuÈlon of the Èotal carry-eysr sÈorage to Èhe

Ëhree reservol.rs is based natnly on the expected operation of tbe r€s€r-

vof.rs and the dífference beÈween annual inflow and capacfty. An att€ept

fs made Èo dfstrlbute the carry-over sÈorage so that one reservofr f.s

noÈ spilling during the May-June fill period while another is still below

ful1 capacl.ty.

Run 2 with GraysÈoke capaclty of 41000 acre-feet and Hilda dlver-

sfon in oPeraÈÍon all year lndÍcates thac all storage v¡ould be depleted

during September of the thírd drought year. By the end of Septernber the

total deficiency would be 636 acre-feeÈ whÍch fs a relatively small por-
