Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be th y name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

PRELUDE

*CALL to WORSHIP Hebrews 1:1-4Long ago God spoke to our ancestors in many and various ways through the prophets.

But in these last days God has spoken to us through his Son, through whom he created the worlds.

He is the one God has appointed heir of all things. He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact likeness of God’s own being.

He sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for the sins of all, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High.

He was made much superior to the angels, just as the name God gave him is more excellent than theirs.

To Him, and to God the Father, by the power of God

the Holy Spirit, belongs all our worship and our praise. Let us worship God.

*Hymn of Praise No. 9: “Now Thank We All Our God”

PRAYER of PRAISE and ADORATIONKing of kings, and Lord of lords, together we lift our voices in praise and adoration of the One who is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. We praise you, King Jesus, for the life you lived among us. We thank you for your sacrifice that brings the grace of God into our lives. We worship you for your victory over the grave. As we have gathered to worship your name, may the light of your presence fill our hearts and usher us into your glorious kingdom. Amen

*GLORIA PATRI / RESPONSE NO. 546:Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy

Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen, Amen.

shared human needs, temptations, joys and sorrows. He expressed the love of God in word and deed and became a brother to all kinds of sinful people. In giving himself for them, he took upon himself the judgment under which all people stand convicted. We believe that God raised him from the dead, vindicating him as Messiah and Lord. The victim of sin became victor, and won the victory over sin and death for all.
