Capegate Renewable Energy has a special interest in solar energy. Solar energy as a renewable energy is used in the conversion for agriculture, chemical production, water treatment, also in areas of heating, cooling, ventilation for all purposes. This has been made possible by the use of ever-evolving technologies.

Wind Energy
Besides solar energy, Wind Energy plays a key role in our quest for alternative source of energy to help meet energy growing demand. The total amount of economically extractable power available from the wind is considerably more than present human power use from all sources. Wind power has been used for irrigation pumping and milling grain for centuries and in the 20 th century, electricity production.
The ecological impact of wind energy is not significant. We consult with the Government and communities on appropriate planning and approval procedures in order to reduce environmental risks.

2. COAL
Coal, a fossil fuel, is the largest source of energy for the generation of electricity worldwide, as well as one of the largest worldwide anthropogenic sources of
carbon dioxide emissions. Gross carbon dioxide emissions from coal usage are slightly more than those from petroleum and about double the amount from natural gas. Coal is extracted from the ground by mining, either underground or in open pits.
Capegate has plans to drill site programs that define full coal reserves. We drill coal bed samples over burden rocks and underclay.
LIMESTONE
Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the mineral calcite. They are composed of grains, though most of the grains are skeletal fragments of marine organisms such as coral amongst others. Limestone is common in architecture, especially in Europe and North America. Train stations, banks, famous landmarks like the Great Pyramid are made from Limestone.
Capegate engages in the evaluation and mapping of limestone resource reserves. We will sustain and maintain a full cement production plant.

3. Energy ConservationThe largest consumer of electricity is lighting. It represents around 12 to 15 percent of the total level of carbon dioxide emission. The solution brought forward is energy saving lamps (CFL’s). However, these lamps aren’t perfect wondrous lamps; they are made of poisonous phosphor and mercury.
An LED Bulb
The LED lamp has a longer life span. Some of the LED lamps have 50,000 hours life span. They use very low voltage of about 10W which is equivalent to the 100W bulb. They also reduce the emission of carbon by several thousand tonnes during their life span. We deal in LED lamps and bulbs.
OVERVIEW OF WASTE-TO-ENERGY
The two methods we use in Waste-to-Energy conversion are;
Anaerobic System: In this method, we plan, design, and install
Anaerobic Digester systems for turning manure and other organic
wastes into biogas for heat and renewable electric energy.

Plasma Gasification System: We are dedicated to the promotion
of the most current technologies for the recovery of energy from
waste. In our opinion, the waste "problem" is the solution to our
energy needs. We like to think of waste as an asset rather than a
liability. Current technologies using plasma gasification and
pyrolysis processes can convert almost any waste material into
usable products such as electricity, ethanol, vitrified glass and other
saleable products. This is a true waste to energy system that goes
way beyond the traditional incinerator and beyond standard

100% conversion of waste to energy in a safe and environmentally
friendly manner. Plasma gasification and pyrolysis processes allow
for the virtual elimination of landfills, recycling without sorting,
the complete thermal conversion of all types of waste to energy in
the form of green electricity or ethanol.
PLASMA GASIFICATION PROCESS DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
Capegate Waste Mgt. uses with the thermal transformation of waste to produce
a clean combustible gas referred to hereinafter as "Fuel Gas". The Fuel Gas is
used to produce electricity in a combined cycle gas/steam turbine. Alternatively,
the Fuel Gas can be used to produce ethanol (denatured ethyl alcohol), a fuel
that can either be blended with gasoline or burned in an engine as a neat fuel.
Heat generated by the process is used to produce electricity, superheat steam,
heat boiler feed water and to distill.
BENEFITS
The conversion of any carbon-based material is in excess of 99%.
Non-carbon-based materials which are converted into vitrified
glass. Molten metals are separated from the glass and recovered.
The Fuel Gas produced is much cleaner than standard gasification
processes.
The sole discharge into the air is from the turbine.
Heat from the process is used internally to produce electricity,
distill ethanol and distill HCL.
PROCESS FLOW DESCRIPTION
The following is a description of Capegate Waste Mgt. Services process for
transforming Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and other waste materials into
energy and useable by-products. The process can be broken down into four sub-
systems: material handling, thermal transformation or plasma gasification, gas
clean up, steam and energy production.

One of our key projects of interest is Biogas Waste‐to‐Energy project in the
FCT and Kaduna State of Nigeria where we have an estimated electricity
generation of about 40MW & 42MW of electricity respectively.
The preliminary feasibility studies of the two projects havebeen conducted
by Capegate Local and Foreign/technical partners.
