Selecting Items to Adjust Colours and Add Filters/Effects

1. In this section we are going to use the intact image.2. Use the Lasso/Polygonal Lasso Tool to select specific areas of image. Once your

area is selected, go to IMAGE and select ADJUSTMENTS, in here select Colour Balance… Play around with the colour of the section. Next, go to the same section and choose Hue/Saturation… this will change the intensity of the colour you have chosen.

PRO-TIP: You can sue the Quick Selection or Magic Wand tools, if you have very clear definitions between colours.

3. You can also change the effects and texture of selected items by going to FILTER and choosing Artistic.

4. This will take you to a preview screen that shows a variety of styles for your selection.

There you go…now play around and try out some different effects within the photo. Don’t forget to save your work!
