Carte Autobiographique

Create a visual map of your autobiography.

1) The “heart” should be centered, (holding the paper horizontally) ,should depict you,, in any way you like, and be about 2 in. by 2 in. You can actually leave space for the “heart” and fill it in later.

2) Each branch will be a different color. The main branch will be the name of the category, and the connected sub- branches will be the same color and only as long as the words you fill in. The words need to be legible!

3) Make the branches more horizontal than vertical so that they can be easily read. Include these categories as the main branches:

caractéristiques (personnalité and physiques as sub-branches) famille, langues, maison activités, cuisine, profession mon rêve

4) If you really need to use more than one word, or a phrase, put it into a bubble on the branch.

5) You can use pictorial symbols somewhere off the branches themselves as a metaphor or to express an idea.

Evaluation: When you are finished, you will give a brief summary of your map to a small group. The group members will ask you questions about it.
