Solution

The following exit of SAP enhancement SAPLMHD1 is available for calculating and checking the shelf life expiration date with the central function module VB_MAINTAIN_MHD: EXIT_SAPLVBMD_001. This exit allows you to modify the data for calculating and checking the SLED (for example, total shelf life, minimum remaining shelf life) and control the SLED processing more accurately (for example, per plant or storage location). Communication structure BNCOM contains the application data for the corresponding business transaction. You can change the following parameters in the exit: C_BEZDT, C_IPRKZ_HBD, C_IPRKZ_RLZ, C_RDMHD, C_GESHB, C_RSTLZ, C_MHDAT, C_HSDAT. Example: A different total shelf life applies to certain plants than that which is maintained in the material master. CHECK NOT c_geshb IS INITIAL.
