Remember This: Not all work is created equal. If you have a full-time job, then you may only have 1-4 hours a day to work on your business. This means you have to be productive. The key to increasing your income is doing ‘income increasing activities’. This does not include checking your email, Facebook, Twitter, reading, watching fi lms, TV, fi ling, goal setting, planning, note-taking, teaching, and training. Although these are important, you must learn how to prioritise.

The activities that create income are the ones that you probably don’t like doing. These include talking with new people, sending emails to new people, calling people up, setting appointments, doing presenta-tions, following up, launching new partners. Learn the value of a full calendar.

These are the activities that you are probably not doing, which is why you are not getting the results that you want.

To sell well, you have to know the products intimately. For example, how do they work, why do they work, what’s the background on the product, who was it created by (and for)? Does the product have any alternative uses that you can sell to a different audience?

People buy things because they’re trying to solve some problem in their lives. If you spend time really learning the products you sell and you’re able to tell people how these products can help make their lives better, you’re going to do great!
