Ryan Forehan-Kelly added a season-best18 points, while Sean Lampley had 13 points, 11 rebounds and five assists for his30th career double-double. Arizona's Jason Gardner scored the go-ahead bucket on a three-pointer with 59seconds left as the eighth-ranked Wildcats held on for a 78-76 victory over Cal.Arizona led for most of the first half, going up by as many as nine points. The Bearsbattled back for a 27-26 lead, but UA held a 38-33 edge at the break. In the secondhalf, the Wildcats took a 51-41 advantage just before the Bears went on a 10-0 runto tie the score. In the final 4:12, there were five ties and two lead changes. Caltook its last lead at 74-72 on two Brian Wethers free throws. But Loren Woods tiedthe game on a layup and Gardner put UA ahead for good. Cal had one last opportunityto send the game into overtime, but Sean Lampley's last second 15-footer cameup short.
