    1. understand the basic concepts associated with MIS and its applications

    2. acquire knowledge about the different information systems available in organizationsand how they are used in decision making.

    Students taking this course will learn and acquire expertise and knowledge onmanagement information systems present in all contemporary business organizationsinvolving the development and use of information systems to achieve organizational goalsand objectives. Students need to understand, recognize, and fully appreciate the power oftechnology and how it facilitates information flow and management ability as a key driverfor revenue and margin improvement in order to become professional executives.
