F ROM THE P ASTOR :
Preparing our Hearts
The more I spend time in God's Word, the more I see the holiness and the majesty of God. The more I see the holiness and majesty of God the more I realize my
sinfulness. The more I realize my sinfulness the more thankful I am for what Christ did for me at the cross. The more thankful I am for Christ the more I desire to
follow Him, to please Him, and to tell people about Him.
As we get ready for Easter, the most important event in the Christian church, I
would like to share with you what God has been teaching me about our walk with Him. On Sunday, April 6, we will have a combined Sunday school in the sanctuary.
I will share with you during that time about the holiness of God and our response to His holiness. Then during the worship service I will be sharing what God has
been showing me about preparing our hearts for Him.
Remember, this Sunday, March 23, is Missions Sunday with the focus on local missions. We will have representatives from different local ministries share during
the Sunday school hour.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and the many expressions of love and support for Kim and me and our family during this difficult time. We thank God
daily for His grace and His mercy and His love.
Lakan
