Q-tine menu glossary Poutine poutine n. [poo-teen] French-Canadian dish traditionally made of French fries and fresh cheese curds, covered with gravy, born in rural Quebec in the 1950’s. All served with a crisp cold red radish a signature at the Cantine La Fringale outside of Montreal, in McMasterville Our Gravy [Beef stock, tomato, onions, garlic, seasonings, roux] Our vegan, gluten-free Gravy [mushroom stock, onions, garlic, seasonings, corn starch] Cheese Curds [produced for us in Wisconsin, made with non genetically modified organisms (GMOs)]. Q Classic Poutine French fries finished with white cheddar cheese curds melted by our rich gravy. [Kennebec "chipper" potatoes, a variety known for their flavor and crispness, twice fried, beef gravy, Wisconsin artesian white cheddar cheese curds] Coach Q Montreal smoked meat [Special recipe Beef Brisket prepared and smoked in house, sliced over the Q classic poutine . Made famous at Schwartz's deli in Montreal] Merguez Banquise Spicy Moroccan style sausage, prepared in house that is grilled and sliced on top of our classic Poutine. [Another tribute, this time to the Montreal shrine of poutine, La Banquise. For our merguez, we grind lamb and beef with spices and chili paste] Q-tine The signature dishes, melding our BBQ with fried goodness and "gravy" Pulled pork Q Fruitwood smoked pork butt, fries, curds and gravy. Room to add one of our BBQ sauces on top too for a great mash-up! Q- "Philly" Steak Our buttery smoked beef brisket sliced on top of crisp buttermilk onion strings, finished with the cheese curd sauce, made with Revolution brewery beer [Sourcing local from our friends next door] EQ's Hot Smoked Salmon Q-tine Alaskan or Chilean hot smoked salmon, atop our crisp fries, with cucumber-dill-sour cream-yogurt "gravy" [Raita} QFC Cod filet fried crisp with fries, tartar sauce and lemon. Fish and chips if you will! Anti-Q Roasted peppers, onions and zucchini rest on top of our fries with gluten free porcini mushroom gravy, with your option of cheese curds. All served with our non-sweet Q-beans, cold cole slaw, and traditional corn bread. These sides may be omitted and substituted with a classic Poutine, if you wish.
