2. TODAY’S PREACHER
Rev Dr William Wan is a Justice of the Peace and General Secretary of the
Singapore Kindness Movement. He is also Chairman of the Prison Fellowship
Singapore and the Ethics Committee of the Farrer Park Hospital. Rev Dr Wan
practised law, taught at universities overseas, pastored churches and ran a
psychometric analysis business before retiring and assuming his present
vocation. He authored 10 books and speaks regularly at churches and public
events. A grandfather of 3 undergraduates, he is also the winner of the Active
Agers Award 2011 and the Abdeali Tayebali Lifetime Achievement Award, 2015.

1. OUR WORLD Pray Singapore will continue to pursue good relations with USA.
2. OUR NATION Pray for that government policies will raise generations of thriving marriages which
in turn form strong families who will form the bedrock of our nation.
3. CHURCHES AROUND DOVER & PARTS OF BUONA VISTA Pray for God’s blessings over the following churches:
Holy Covenant Chinese Methodist Church @ Fairfield Methodist (Secondary); Faith
Methodist Church @ Anglo-Chinese Junior College; Living Waters Methodist Church @ ACS
Independent; St John’s St Margaret’s Church; New Creation Church; Ebenezer Church @
ACS Independent and Immanuel Congregation (of the Church of South India) meeting at
SJSM.
4. OUR CHURCH AMC Medical mission trip to Timor-Leste, health screening, consults and health
education in Gleno and Dili districts and exploring ways to benefit the medical
community.

5. MISSIONS Thanksgiving for Nathan's (s/o missionaries Wee Teck and Qiuluan) adjustment to
play school since Sept. Pray for God to grant him a strong immune system and
protection.
Thanksgiving for Qiuluan's opportunity to be involved in actively raising up leaders
and officers for the Girls' Brigade Company in the Methodist School of Cambodia
(MSC). Pray that these young godly ladies will go on to be a blessing to the larger
society beyond their current social sphere at MSC.
Pray for Wee Teck & Pr Han Chew's work on AMC field ministries- Methodist Hostel,
Hope House and Prek Omperl Methodist Church (POMC), particularly wisdom in
solving the flooding problem at POMC.
Pray for Wee Teck as he works on MSC teaching staff's professional development - to
have wisdom and leadership in helping them meet changing needs of education in
Cambodia.
