should always be converted to an Electrical signal
that can be communicated uphole to give us a
Caliper Log calibrated in inches
4. Some Safety feature should be available that will
automatically cut the Electrical Power to the Caliper
in case the arms reach their Mechanical Limits
5. A Pressure compensation mechanism should
ensure that Mud Pressure should NOT force theCaliper Open or Close

Bila caliper menunjukkan lebih besar dari ukuran mata bor,berati terdapat gerowong (Rugose) pada dinding lubang bor.
