QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER FROM SUEZ environnement AZERBAIJAN

IMMEDIATE TRAININGSWithout waiting for the complete training plan, which has been delivered to AZERSU on the 25th of February, we have delivered trainings in two major domains in February.

Our first training has been held on the 3rd and 5th of February 2015. This training, given to 16 managers of the commercial departments of the Peninsula of Absheron, by Yannick BONHOMME, was about the reduction of Commercial Losses. The trainees have now to elaborate an action plan in their rayon applying the recommendations given. Vicente MORIL, our expert in Customer Management, will help them to do that during the month of March. We expect from this training a reduction of commercial losses in every district and so more revenues for AZERSU.

We have followed with four weeks of training in Health and Safety in various fields:

• Trench Digging Work Excavation• Waste Water Networks• Water treatment plants, reservoirs and mains• Electric Safety

Health and Safety is an important issue for any water supplying company. It is even more important for a company employing 11 000 people around the country. Nobody comes to work to be injured. Risks are important everywhere and a lot of precautions have to be taken before initiating any work. Our trainings have given the essentials recommendations in every field. Site visits have completed the theoretical trainings in Hövsan and Ceyranbatan. 120 people of AZERSU have thus been trained. They will be followed by our experts in April and May in order to check if they correctly apply the rules.

Safety must come first in mind before initiating an activity. It is also a concern which must concern every person in the company, from the top management to simple workers. Please, bear always this in mind.

PRESENTATION OF SUEZ Environnement POLICIES AND FACILITIES FOR PURCHASE AND LOGISTICSResponding at a need expressed by AZERSU, SUEZ environnement has organized a 3 days visit to Barcelona and Paris for 5 managers of AZERSU interested in knowing how SUEZ environnement is dealing with these aspects.

The participants have been very pleased and interested by what they saw between the 16th and the 18th of February.

In Barcelona, they had a presentation of the purchasing policy of AGBAR, the water company of SUEZ environnement in Spain, and visited the central warehouse of Subirats.

In Paris, they had presentation by Lyonnaise des Eaux about the procurement of strategic items for a water company and had an opportunity to visit warehouses and a water treatment plant.

Our teams, in Baku or elsewhere in the world, are prepared to help AZERSU in these important topics, even if this process is not part of the perimeter of our contract.
